I’ve been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, and over the years I have developed a natural talent for it. Right now I’m going to a performing arts school, that goes up all the way until the 12th grade. There are four majors at my school, art, drama, music, and dance. A few years ago, I’ve been developing an interest in acting. Unfortunately, at my school, you can’t have two majors, so I chose to audition for art, when I first started going to the school. I haven’t had much of a chance to act in plays, but every time I watch one, I envy the actors and actresses on stage who get a chance to perform. When I’m older I’d liked to become an artist and eventually own my own art gallery or become an actress. However, I don’t know which one I should choose. One part of me says I should just become an artist since I’ve had a passion for it the longest, and I’ll be getting even more experience with art by going to this school, which is a big plus. But another part of me also wants to give it a chance of acting. So, I’m really confused, and don’t know which I should pick.
i don’t like the way your school is set up. you need to see if there is some way to get involved in some plays. maybe some amateur drama groups not connected with your school in your area. can you major in art but take some courses in drama? i am not sure how you can do it but you need to spend time working in both directions for a while. after that you will know which direction to take.
Torn between two future careers…….?

this is going to sound very chiche but you should ‘follow ur heart’
what every you want, i think you should do acting because it’s better when your young (i think) and when your older you can go back to uni or where ever and do art because you can do that at any age
