i'm doing an art project for school, and the assignment is to pick ONE word that is inspirational/has meaning to us and create a work of art encompassing the overall mood/significance of the word.
i wanted something inspiring, maybe…?
i had "live", "believe", "dream", and "imagine" in mind…but i want something a bit more creative if at all possible. i'm having trouble trying to think of something that's not so cheesy or cliche.

what motivates you in your teaching? I am writing an essay about art education and would like some insight to how art educators stay motivated and how they come up with new and inspirational ideas all the time.
I am a music teacher, and I am motivated every day because I know I am bringing beauty into my student's lives. I work in the inner city, and there is a lot of ugliness in these kids' communities. I'm probably not training the next Joshua Bell, or Steve Reich, but I can give kids an appreciation and the experience of my art.
