Hi, im 15 and im studying for my GCSEs, ive got drawings which are alright but i really want to make my future drawings really good, espeically hair, id love to be able to draw hair that looks realistic,
http://jschwelmart.deviantart.com/gallery/ these are the drawings ive done.
so any advice would be gratelly appreiciated .
Also if you have a deviant account could you please leave a comment or something, i look really lonely lol

My advice comes from an art teacher that I had she said to keep drawing the same thing over and over again. Eventually I did exactly that with my inspired georgia O’Keeffe drawing with cow skull.

My advice would be just to keep at it like all true artists do.

You draw pretty good! Take drawing classes. Sometimes schools hold classes over the summer or even during the school year. Also, check with your local college bcuz sometimes they hold drawing classes that are open to the public for you to sign up. Practice makes perfect so just keep trying and im sure you will get far with your drawings! hope this helped and good luck! =)

keep at it and don’t take it the wrong way but your pencil work needs better shading, shading makes or breaks a picture

A way to improve your art is to practice a lot! http://posemaniacs.com/ is a good website to use for human anatomy

As the others have said, practice. You may want to do some life drawing. Go out in public and using gesture drawing , draw people as they walk by. As for drawing hair better, ask a friend if they would sit for a while so you can draw their hair. I’d try different lighting and hair styles to get some good practice in.

Don’t listen to the negatives. just keep drawing. and start getting into different mediums. oils , Airbush, different pens pencils watercolor acrylic, you must find what medium you like the most. buy the best stuff, not student grade. you have potential, just keep it up.
