Kinetic sculptures, sound installations and more from eleven artists inspired by "The Imaginary 20th Century" an interactive DVD novel by Norman Klein, Margo Bistis and Andreas Kratky. Nice to hear Phil Ross’ thoughts about the work. Didn’t think about the “stasis” aspect while I was looking at the work, but somehow a caged plant is something out of it’s element, lacking, and therefore not thriving, as Phil suggests. Beautiful piece to look at as well. jessica rath
