All of our instructors are certified through ACMA, the American Council of Martial Artists. Our dedicated instructors must complete, on an annual basis, 40 hours of continuous training in martial art classroom management and teaching methodology to retain certification. Although our core style is Traditional Taekwondo, we effectively blend concepts and signature techniques from Kenpo, Aikido, Kickboxing, Capoeira, Escrima, and Kobudo into our curriculum, providing our students with a well-rounded martial art education in both physical skills and martial art philosophy.

I will add a detailed description later including my inspiration and techniques used in this painting as well as explain the symbolism. One aspect of the symbolism is how the body and everything below the surface is more abstract to show the distortion of what’s in our minds compared to the outer reality (above the surface).

How Great Thou Art!
Psalm 40:1-3 (NIV) says:
“I waited patiently for the LORD; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.”
